Storytelling, Strategy & Impact

I am a bilingual Cuban-Venezuelan American producer and communications professional currently working as a Member Communications Specialist at SEIU 32BJ while continuing to freelance on film projects.

I bring over a decade of experience across television, documentary film, social and digital video, and branded content, with credits that include NBC News Studios’ Leguizamo Does America, Radical Media’s Shadowland, VICE World News’ Vice Debates, Fusion’s The Naked Truth and Univision. My work has been recognized with honors such as a Pulitzer Prize team recognition, the 2017 NABJ Al Neuharth Award for Innovation in Investigative Journalism, and the RFK Human Rights Television Domestic Journalism Award.

I began my career in broadcast news at 30 Rockefeller Plaza with WNBC and later joined Jorge Ramos’ producing team at Fusion, where I produced high-profile interviews and covered major stories including the 2014 youth migrant crisis and Puerto Rico’s political landscape.I later expanded into video marketing, producing campaign content for brands including Hilton Hotels, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Florida Power & Light, Florida International University, IKEA, Caress, and Cash App.

In addition, I’ve worked in the marketing and events space as the Marketing & Events Manager for Bougainvillea’s Old Florida Tavern, a Miami-based live music and bar venue. While there, I grew the business’s social media following to over 30K+ followers, secured media coverage, launched brand merchandise lines, and produced community events that boosted sales and brand awareness.

Across labor communications, news, documentary, and branded content, I bring a story-first and community-centered approach to every project. I thrive in multilingual, mission-driven spaces and aim to create work that connects with audiences, moves them to action, and leaves a lasting impact.
